Your CABin South Oxfordshire
Each year South Oxfordshire Citizens Advice Bureaux work with over 4500 people,
dealing with 7000 enquiries, and making more than 16,000 contacts with
and on behalf of clients.
All this is achieved by a team of highly trained volunteers who donate over
20,000 hours of service every year.
Our advice services enable people to manage their situation more effectively,
thereby reducing stress and improving relationships. For example through the money
advice process, vital cash is freed to prevent homelessness and address
other needs. And money
raised through ensuring uptake of benefit entitlement, and health and
carers' benefits, not only has a dramatic impact on the lives of
individuals, but also has an impact on the local economy. We have an
ambitious vision to develop our services over the next 3 years to enable
even more people to benefit.
Please help us bring this vision into reality by making a donation ... Examples of
what your donation could help us achieve:
£14.00 - Will enable us to deal with one enquiry.
£350 - Would help us buy and install a new computer to increase the efficiency of our service.
£1500 - Would enable a new volunteer to be trained as an adviser.
The above are just examples; any level of donation would enable us to help
more people.
Donations to Didcot & District CAB, Henley & District CAB or Thame CAB can be made through
www.charitygiving.co.uk or via your local CAB office.
